The Fort Pierce Firehawks Win Pop Warner National Championship!
The Fort Pierce Firehawks 14U Division swept their opponent this afternoon at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL, facing the Northampton Indians out of Pennsylvania; a power-heavy running team that was just as eager for the national title.
The Firehawks quickly racked up 19-points by the first half without allowing the Indians to score and continued battling their way through the 2nd half. The defense held the Indians to just 12 points, while the offense put up another 19 points on the board with a final score of Firehawks - 38, Indians - 12.
The Fort Pierce Firehawks 14U Division ended the season with a perfect record, 17-0.
The Fort Pierce Firehawks Youth Football and Cheerleading program is based out of the City's Recreation Center located at 903 S. 21st Street in Fort Pierce engaging over 400 youth in the community offering various activities such as football, cheerleading, basketball, and much more.
