Mayor Linda Hudson provides a complete review of 2020, ‘A Year of Challenges and Changes’ and discusses future visions for Fort Pierce and what to expect in 2021 in the State of the City Address. The City’s focus for the new year is aimed at a clean, safe city for everyone to live, learn, work, and play in beautiful Fort Pierce.
“The year of 2020 was full of challenges and change. Our biggest challenge was keeping the city moving forward while protecting our residents during the pandemic. Changes were required to assist residents and businesses financially, to govern openly, safely virtually, and to provide venues for food and mask distribution, testing and vaccinations. Heading into the pandemic, our city was financially strong, and we were on the verge of accepting new developments. We met the challenges of the pandemic and look forward to continuing our strong commitment to make Fort Pierce the best it can be." ~ Mayor, Linda Hudson.
The Annual State of the City is a compilation of past accomplishments throughout the community from the previous year and highlights what is ahead for the beautiful City of Fort Pierce.
