FREE TESTING

The City of Fort Pierce will be offering free COVID-19 swab and antibody testing on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 12PM to 4PM at Ilous Ellis Park (1211 Avenue M, Fort Pierce). No appointment is necessary. For more information, please call 888-519-9192.


PUBLIC HEARINGS

In an effort to allow projects and city business to move forward, the Fort Pierce City Commission approved resolution 20-R26 to allow legislative public hearings to resume on June 15, 2020 and quasi-judicial hearings on July 6, 2020.


SPECIAL EVENTS AND FACILITY RENTALS

As we navigate the phased approach to reopening set forth by the Governor, all special event permits and facility reservations remain on hold until further notice. Special events and facility rentals are expected to be discussed at the Fort Pierce City Commission Conference Agenda Meeting on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 9AM in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. The City of Fort Pierce shall continue to adhere to CDC, state and federal guidance in order to reopen our community in a safe and calculated manner.

ST LUCIE PUBLIC SCHOOLS SUMMER MEALS

The St. Lucie Public Schools Child Nutrition Services Department will continue to serve free meals at the following school sites to children from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 9, 2020 - July 31, 2020. The multi-day meal packages include breakfast and lunch. On Tuesdays, the meal packages contain 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches. On Thursdays, the meal packages contains 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches.
