The City of Fort Pierce is pleased to announce that in addition to all other city parks, South Causeway Park and Jaycee Park are now fully open for the enjoyment of the public. For the safety of our residents and visitors, the parks and beaches are being monitored by City staff to ensure that social distancing guidelines and normal day-to-day regulations are being followed.
Parties should not be in groups larger than 10 people and each party must maintain a minimum distance of six feet. As a reminder, pets and alcohol are not permitted at the beaches. In addition, no open fires or private grills are allowed. At this time, the pavilions are open for use but only on a first-come / first-served basis and are not available for rent. Jaycee Park has a designated area for non-motorized watercraft, visitors should not block or use this area unless using it for the specified purpose. All visitors should be respectful of the parking regulations and only park in designated areas. All boaters should be advised that there are a specific number of spaces reserved for trailer parking. If these spaces are full, the park has reached capacity and an alternate launch location should be located. Failure to follow the rules of the park and/or direction of City staff may result in citations being issued. The rules are posted at each entrance to our parks and are available for viewing at https://library.municode.com/fl/fort_pierce/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=COOR_CH12PARESPEV_ARTIIPARE.
