The City of Fort Pierce hosted its 5th Annual Highwaymen Heritage Art Show and Festival on February 15, 2020. Along with the Festival, local 5th grade students participated in an art contest, giving them the opportunity to learn Fort Pierce’s Highwaymen history, and were encouraged to paint landscape scenes symbolic to the Highwaymen style. The contest entries were judged by the Arts and Culture Advisory Board, and the winners were announced at the Festival. Students with winning entries also received an engraved medallion commemorating the event, a certificate of achievement and a $25 gift card. Winning art departments received $300 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd Place and $200 for 3rd Place.

3rd Place – Trinity Hanson, Frances K. Sweet Elementary
