The City of Fort Pierce, Florida (hereinafter the City) and the Fort Pierce Community Redevelopment Agency (hereinafter the FPRA) are seeking proposals for various insurance coverages. To facilitate distribution of the underwriting data and requirements for each of the coverages, this consolidated Request for Proposals (hereinafter RFP) has been prepared.
However, each of the coverages is severable and may be proposed separately. The following are included:
A. (1) Property and Equipment Breakdown Coverage – City
(2) Property and Equipment Breakdown Coverage – FPRA
B. Inland Marine Coverage – City
C. Crime Coverage – City
D. (1) General Liability Including Employee Benefits Liability and Law Enforcement Liability – City
(2) General Liability Including Employee Benefits Liability – FPRA
E. (1) Privacy and Network Security Liability – City
(2) Privacy and Network Security Liability – FPRA
F. (1) Public Officials and Employment Practices Liability – City
(2) Public Officials and Employment Practices Liability – FPRA
G. (1) Automobile Liability & Physical Damage Coverage – City
(2) Automobile Liability & Physical Damage Coverage – FPRA
H. Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability – City
Proposals will only be accepted that include coverage for both the City and for FPRA.
Proposals should clearly state if coverage for these two entities will be provided on one combined policy/program or if separate policies/programs will be issued. Both methods will be considered. However, a combined policy/program is proposed, proposers must agree to provide the premium breakdown between the City and FPRA.
In addition to the lines of coverage identified above, the successful proposer may be required to assume the responsibility for handling the City’s aviation insurance policy for unmanned aircraft systems (drones). The City’s drones are currently covered on a policy through Global Aerospace, Inc.
