The Florida Building Code 5th Edition (2014) Energy Conservation now requires that installation of windows and doors with glazing meet the Energy Code section C402.3.3 and R402.3.6. These windows and doors must meet certain U-Factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient standards. Please reference the code for these standards PRIOR to purchasing the products. Additional documentation will also be required at permit application submittal.
