Revised Permit Submittal Process, Effective 10/1/2021
In an effort to provide quality service and ensure compliance with newly enacted laws, a new permit submittal process will begin on October 1, 2021.
The Building Department will continue to act as the permitting hub for the City and you will continue to submit all permits through the Building Department. However, please be advised that starting October 1, 2021, prior to applying for a building permit, several permit types will require Development Permit Compliance Review approval from one or more review agencies before you will be able to apply for a building permit.
Development Permit Compliance Review includes, but is not limited to, required approval from the Engineering, Planning, Zoning, Historic, FPUA, DEP, Army Corp of Engineers, SFWMD, Violations, Flood Review, Solid Waste, and Landscaping Review Agencies.
