  2. 10th Annual National Public Gardens Day in 2018!

    National Public Gardens Day, an initiative of the American Public Gardens Association, is a day of celebration to raise awareness of America’s public gardens and the important role they play in their communities. This year at Heathcote, we will have a selection of Heathcote propagated plants for sale and free admission for everyone Friday May 11, 9:00-4:00 & Saturday May 12, 10:00-3:00.

  3. Fishing Frenzy & Festival!

    The St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce will host its 22nd Annual Fishing Frenzy, presented by Geico Treasure Coast on May 11-12, 2018 at Causeway Cove Marina in Fort Pierce. There is no cost to sit and enjoy the excitement as the weigh-in takes place! Weigh-in is Saturday, May 12th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

  4. Lunch and Learn: Update on the State of the Lagoon

    May 11, 2018, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ Manatee Observation & Education Center

    Bo Platt & Wayne Mills of the Marine Resources Council will give us an update on lagoon health and the restoration efforts along the Treasure Coast. Bo and Wayne are also members of the Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition, and worked to get a 1/2 cent sales tax passed there. The tax runs for ten years and all the money goes into lagoon restoration efforts. It is expected to bring in over $300 million over a ten year period. Get an update on the health of the lagoon and how community members are working to preserve our waters. This is a free event. Bring lunch and bring a friend!

  5. Fire Station Open House

    Beginning in October and through May, The St. lucie County Fire District will be hosting Fire Station Open Houses. Please see the list below and save the date when one will be at a station in your neighborhood. They have teamed up with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office and SafeKids to bring you even more resources. Food will be provided by the Fire District.
