St. Lucie County’ Environmental Resources Department is proud to offer educational programming on its publicly owned lands. These programs are FREE, unless otherwise specified and open to the public. Programs are usually limited to 15 people to allow participants to immerse themselves into the County’s beautiful wild areas, and reservations are required. Programs target ages 12 and up unless otherwise noted. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. We hope you’ll join us! Guided Nature Programs are offered week days, weekends and some evenings, it is a fun and safe opportunity to explore the local preserves. Each program presents a new topic from critters like owls, local history, native plants, tracking and scat ID to how to become an environmental steward and almost everything in-between.

Every Saturday, the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society hosts a Jazz Market "featuring creative arts & crafts" in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce on the waterfront of the Indian River. Original hand made crafts, stained glass, Highwaymen paintings, hand-painted glassware and much, more are available for purchase. Funds raised support education programs and local scholarships.

The United States Coast Guard Station, located at 900
Seaway Drive, will host an open house on Saturday, April 8th
from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary
of the Sandy Shoes celebration.Members of the Historical Society will welcome visitors inside the gates of the Coast Guard Station on Seaway Drive.
This will be a rare opportunity to observe the many ways that
the Coast Guard contributes to the well-being of the public
and provides a critical margin of safety to commercial and recreational
The open house will include viewing and inspecting the 33'
and 43' Coast Guard vessels. Coast Guard personnel will be on
hand to answer questions about the Fort Pierce Coast Guard
Station and the role of the Coast Guard here in Fort Pierce.
It will be a free, family friendly event, with many other public agencies on hand as well.

Ron brings his up-tempo songs and contemporary favorites as well as classics to each show for a foot-tapping musical experience. Songs like "Oh What a Night," "Brick House," "Celebration," a unique medley of Jim Croce songs, a medley of impressions to include Nat King Cole (and Natalie too!), Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias, a special appearance from Kermit the Frog and Joe Cocker! Ron's clean stand-up comedy is scattered throughout the show incorporating material about music including more impressions, relationships (especially his loving wife) and jokes that every audience can identify with.
Eli Olsberg is a comedian, writer, and actor based in Los Angeles, CA. He performs at clubs and colleges across the country and has performed at TBS’ Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He’s also performed nationally with bands and music festivals including the 2015 Vans Warped Tour in their first ever comedy tent on all forty-one stops.
