    Every Saturday, the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society hosts a Jazz Market "featuring creative arts & crafts" in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce on the waterfront of the Indian River. Original hand made crafts, stained glass, Highwaymen paintings, hand-painted glassware and much, more are available for purchase. Funds raised support education programs and local scholarships.

    Community gardens offer a wide range of benefits from providing fresh fruits and vegetables, an opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, reduce stress, and are a chance for children to learn where food comes from and get involved in their community. Get Outdoors Community gardens allow families and individuals an opportunity for outdoor recreation, exercise and education. No matter your age, income or health, gardening is a pastime that anyone with a little time and patience can participate in. Reserve a Plot To reserve your plot in the Fort Pierce Community Garden, submit a Plot Application Form (PDF). Garden plots are assigned on a first come, first served basis. A wish list of items has been requested to help with the construction of the garden, if you would like to donate to the community garden, please call (772) 467-3821.

    Heard every day on Sirius/XM Radio's Laugh USA, Blue Collar Comedy, and Jamie Foxx's Foxxhole stations, Clayton Fletcher is an American stand-up comedian who lives in New York City and performs throughout the USA, Europe, Australia, and Caribbean. Recently named 'Best of the Fest' at the Stockholm Comedy Festival, Clayton's has been featured on Hulu-TV's "Comedy Brew," MSNBC's "Your Business," ESPN's "World Series of Poker," and Comcast-TV's "Who's Laughing Now?" Hailing from Queens, New York, Dougie Almeida spent most of his adult life as a corporate presenter for one of the largest financial planning firms in the country. His specialty was taking lifeless insurance presentations and transforming them into works of comic art. In his spare time, he fought as an ISKA Heavyweight Muay Thai Kick boxer, retiring at 10-0 and earning the title “Always Dangerous”. So, what do you get when you cross an inventive corporate executive with a retired kick boxer? A stand-up comedian, of course!
