April 28, 2017, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Sunrise Theatre
America became a global household name and paved the way with an impressive string of hits following the success of their first #1 single. Forty plus years later, these friends are still making music together, touring the world and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.
America’s journey has found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best-known tunes, I Need You, Ventura Highway, Don't Cross The River, Tin Man, Lonely People, Three Roses, and Sister Golden Hair were cornerstones of 1970’s Top 40 and FM rock radio. The combination of Gerry Beckley’s melodic pop rock and Dewey Bunnell’s use of folk-jazz elements, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with Dan Peek’s more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics.

April 29, 2017, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Oxbow Eco-Center
Join your friends and neighbors in a celebration of all that wildlife and wild lands offer us -- beauty, inspiration, vital resources, and a sense of belonging to a community. This year, the Oxbow’s Earth Day Festival will be bigger and better than ever.
Drum Roll Please
Our line-up includes local artist Ben and John Prestage, live raptors and reptiles, and dozens of interactive exhibitors. Because Earth Day is as much about the human community as it is the wild community, we are expanding our exhibitors to not only include conservation organizations and nature centers, but also healthy living and community resource organizations here in St. Lucie County.
For the kids (or young at heart) there will be storytelling sessions, face painting, an eco-challenge and a butterfly scavenger hunt.
