Hunger Action Month

Fort Pierce Hunger Action Month

At the City Commission meeting held Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Mayor Linda Hudson recognized Hunger Action Month through a proclamation, acknowledging the current poverty and hunger issues in the nation. The City of Fort Pierce is committed to taking the steps, with community partners, to fight hunger and provide additional resources for the community. Veterans Park / Riverwalk, Avenue D Roundabout, Avenue A Roundabout Downtown, and City Hall Divers Statue lights have been changed in honor of Hunger Action Month.
