City of Fort Pierce officials continue to urge residents and visitors to abide by social distancing guidelines and preventative measures set forth by the CDC during this critical time: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html.
SLC PUBLIC INFORMATION HOTLINE
St. Lucie County’s Emergency Management staff is expanding the hours of operations for the Public Information Hotline to help residents answer general questions about local government efforts relating to COVID-19. That number is 772-460-HELP (4357). The Public Information Lines will be operational Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Executive Order 20-87 orders all parties engaged in rental of vacation rental properties to suspend vacation rental operations. Vacation rentals are prohibited from making new reservations or bookings and shall not accept new guests for check-in for the duration of the order. RECREATIONAL BOATING RESTRICTIONS
FWC Executive Order 20-09 has been enacted to reflect direction from Governor DeSantis, the DOH and the CDC. Effective immediately, all recreational boats must be at least 50 feet apart. Residents may engage in outdoor activity and recreation in wide-open areas not otherwise closed to the public, while maintaining social distancing.
All City of Fort Pierce beaches are closed, including South Causeway Park and Jaycee Park. All other city parks remain open at this time.
The boat ramps at Jaycee Park and Fisherman’s Wharf are open.
The Indian Hills Golf Course is open.
City Hall remains closed to the public until further notice. Essential services like police, solid waste and utilities are not impacted. City of Fort Pierce staff continue to serve the public during this closure via phone, email and online services. The building department is open to by appointment only, please call: 772-467-3199.
