Businesses, community organizations, and newcomers to the area are welcome to share information about upcoming events or activities occurring in the Treasure Coast region. Main Street Fort Pierce and Orchid Island Juice Company provide breakfast treats, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice for attendees.     With sultry, mesmerizing vocals, engaging songwriting talent, and fiery slide guitar work, Kara Grainger boasts an impressive set of skills. This Australian singer, songwriter and guitarist may evoke comparisons to Bonnie Raitt, but she bears a style all her own, a relentlessly seductive, distinctly modern take on roots, blues and soul music. Skyla Burrell was born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County, California. Skyla formed her first band at the age of 13 and has been a working musician ever since. Skyla played with several bands as a teenager and young adult, working her way up and down Southern California. She relocated to the East Coast in her early 20's where she continued learning and growing from her musical experiences and eventually co-forming the Skyla Burrell Band. In addition to her singing, writing and guitar duties, Skyla also plays the piano.

  6. IRSC DECA Holiday Bazaar

    The Indian River State College Chapter of Delta Epsilon Chi (DECA), a student business organization, hosts the 37th Annual DECA Holiday Bazaar Saturday, Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the IRSC Main Campus, at 3209 Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce. Hundreds of craft and gift items including holiday decorations, toys, fabric, haircuts, and more will be on sale. The event will also feature food trucks and live music. The DECA bazaar provides a forum for IRSC students to apply various skills learned in the classroom. IRSC business students plan, coordinate and organize this exciting event. The event features over 100 vendors, and hundreds of people attend the annual event. Funds will be raised through various activities including the Interior Design Sale in the KSY, the holiday cut-a-thon, where IRSC Cosmetology & Barbering students will provide $5 haircuts.
