Scrooge’s old partner who suffered a similar fate and has come back to warn Scrooge of his future life “in chains,” foretells the visits of 3 ghosts that will show him his past, present and future in the pathway he has chosen.

Set during the last years of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts on 46th Street (1980-1984), Fame - The Musical is bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, sexuality, substance abuse and perseverance.

    Saint Lucie Ballet presents - The Nutcracker This full-length fun, colorful and spectacular ballet is based on a fairy tale by master story- teller E.T.A. Hoffman and set to the memorable musical score of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The Nutcracker features renowned guest artists, beautiful scenery, dazzling costumes and spectacular special effects. Clara awakens after a holiday party to find that her beloved nutcracker doll has changed into a real live prince. The Nutcracker Prince must defeat the wicked Rat King and a despicable army of mice in a bitter war to the end. After the victory, the Prince escorts Clara as they travel to strange far off and beautiful lands to sample the exotic sights and flavors of the world.

  11. An Evening with Garrison Keillor

    This show is dedicated to the memory of one of Garrison's long-time fans, Richard B. Hellstrom (1936-2011) by his wife, Sandi Hellstrom. Garrison Keillor one of the most prolific American storytellers of all time is a writer and humorist best known for his popular live radio variety show, A Prairie Home Companion, which attracts more than 4 million listeners on more than 600 public radio stations each week. Keillor is also the host of the daily radio and online program, The Writers Almanac, and the editor of several anthologies of poetry, most recently, Good Poems: American Places.
