ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES: The Administrative Services Department is responsible for
managing all Human Resources Department operations, executing city-wide departmental
policies and procedures, and planning long/short term programs. Our primary goals are to
improve the skills of our workforce through training initiatives and educational workshops and to maintain an effective flow of information to the workforce and the citizens of Fort Pierce.

HUMAN RESOURCES: The Human Resources Department is the function within the
organization that focuses on recruitment, examination and selection of personnel, performance management, training and collective bargaining. Additional services include, safety and wellness programs, conducting surveys and studies of fringe benefits, and acting as the City's liaison to the Civil Service Appeals Board.

Human Resources' goals are to administer and monitor departmental operations, recruit and
retain qualified workers, and assist with creating a diverse, highly skilled management team.
