Services are planned for Officer James Cozine, who passed away from natural causes at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center on Oct. 15 after battling a long illness. We will miss, but never forget, our brother in blue, who was beloved by so many at FPPD, and by so many citizens who he helped throughout his career.
A service is planned for Saturday, Oct. 22 at West Side Church, 3361 S. Jenkins Road in Fort Pierce at 1 p.m. Visitation time is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Officer Cozine will be buried at White City Cemetery. All of us at FPPD are honored to have served the people of Fort Pierce along with him.
