Insurance Requirements

Events Without Alcohol
A Liability Insurance Certificate is required for events without alcohol, naming the City of Fort Pierce as an additional insured, in the minimum amount of $500,000.

Events With Alcohol
A Liability Insurance Certificate is required for events with alcohol, naming the City of Fort Pierce as an additional insured, in the minimum limits of $100,000 per person and $200,000 per event. The certificate of insurance must include liability coverage for the sale and/or consumption of alcohol during the event.

Events With a Parade
A Liability Insurance Certificate is required for events with parades, naming the City of Fort Pierce as an additional insured, in the minimum amount of $500,000. The Liability Insurance must cover the assembly and disband area in addition to the parade route. If vehicles are to be used in the parade, proof of the vehicle liability insurance must be provided to the city.
